Identity Verification Level 5/ Level 3 Guide

GDAC Korean Member:

GDAC is applying different withdrawal limits by verification level with the purpose to prevent financial losses. GDAC has adopted identity verification to verify your identity and prevent identity theft. 

Members who completed Korean mobile phone number (country code: +82) verification can request for 신원 verification after completing KakaoPay verification (level 4). 

The identity verification status of members who uploaded the following three required documents to “Request identity Verification” will be changed to “Completed 신원 Level 5 verification” after internal audit.  

 

  1. Required Documents (3) 
    A. Non-face-to-face identification photo 
    - Front side of ID & Memo for Non-Face-to-Face Identification 
    - A face photo with an ID & Memo in hand

    B. Memo for Non-Face-to-Face Identification 
    1) identity verification
    2) GDAC account
    3) date photo taken (only accept photo taken on the day verification is requested)

  2. Accepted IDs
    : Resident registration card, Driver’s license


  3. Notice
    * Cover the Cover the last 7 digits of the resident registration number with a sticker or finger. 
    * Take a photo of yourself holding your ID and memo.
    * Enter your verified email address in the memo field (Me@gdac.com).
    * If you do not enter your email, the request may not be processed.
